Basic Education

At Margaret Thelma International School, your child is the centre of our wonderful community. This is a place where your child will feel safe and happy while they enjoy the first and arguably the most important years of their education.

We ask our learners to be and do their best, be caring, be responsible and be respectful whilst facilitators and support staff do the same. We aim to provide all learners with an education program that is relevant and inspiring, catering to their individual needs. Your child’s achievements are our achievements.

Children learn best when they feel safe; that is why we provide a caring and nurturing environment so your child can feel comfortable to try new things, learn new skills and achieve their full potential. Whatever your child’s learning style; our facilitators will take the time to ensure they are given the individual attention they need to achieve.

We see parents as an important partner in your child’s education, and we encourage you to get involved with the running of our school. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute and we have worked very hard to ensure that all families feel part of our community.
